According to the California Highway Patrol, a pedestrian accident that took place in Bellflower on Wednesday claimed the life of a person. The accident occurred at around 1:45 a.m.
According to the officials, a pedestrian and a vehicle were involved in a collision. A person was struck by a vehicle on the Artesia (91) Freeway, Lakewood Boulevard. The events leading up to this are not clear. The person was fatally injured and was pronounced dead.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
