The Austin Police Department reported a pedestrian accident that occurred on Saturday and confirmed that one person died. The deceased victim has not been identified at this time. 

Around 8:48 p.m. the crash happened in the westbound lane near Turnersville Roads. A pedestrian was hit by a car along State Highway 45. The officials have not disclosed any details regarding the vehicle involved in the crash. 

The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It remains uncertain whether alcohol or drugs were contributing factors in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
