1 Person Killed In A Pedestrian Accident In Austin (Austin, TX)

Austin authorities are probing a fatal crash that claimed the life of a pedestrian in southeast Austin. On Thursday, Feb. 15, around 1:51 p.m., Austin police were called to the scene of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on the 2300 block of Grove Boulevard.

The pedestrian was rushed to a local hospital but tragically succumbed to their injuries on Feb. 18. The driver involved remained at the scene and is assisting with the investigation. The identity of the victim in the pedestrian accident has not been disclosed at this time.

The fatal crash is still being investigated by the authorities. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
