1 Person Killed In A Pedestrian Accident In Auburn (Auburn, WA)

Washington State Patrol reported that a pedestrian lost their life after being struck by a semi-truck on SR-167 in Auburn, Washington.

Preliminary reports about the incident stated that the fatal crash involved a semi-truck and a pedestrian and occurred around 12:40 p.m. on Wednesday. The State Patrol promptly announced the closure of SR-167 and the diversion of traffic to the 15th NW exit while the investigation was underway.

Following the crash, the victim had been airlifted from SR 167 to a medical center but succumbed to their injuries shortly after.

Authorities are currently investigating the pedestrian accident to determine the circumstances leading to the collision. No further information regarding how the incident took place has been revealed at this time.
