A tragedy struck Wednesday evening as a two-vehicle crash claimed the life of one person in St. Joseph. The collision occurred at the intersection of North Belt Highway and Karnes Road around 10 p.m.
According to the St. Joseph Police Department, a motorcycle traveling on North Belt Highway collided with an SUV as it exited Taco Bell. The impact occurred on the front driver’s side of the SUV.
Regrettably, the driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead upon arrival at the scene. Fortunately, the driver of the SUV emerged unscathed. Authorities continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
