A fatal two-vehicle crash on Sam Cooper Boulevard in Memphis claimed the life of a man on Saturday morning, according to Memphis Police. The incident occurred at around 9:25 a.m. in the vicinity of Sam Cooper Boulevard and Highland Street.
Police responded to the scene and found a man critically injured, who was subsequently transported to Regional One Hospital. Unfortunately, despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead later. The circumstances surrounding the crash are currently under investigation by authorities.
The investigators are working to determine the cause of the collision. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
