In the early hours of Friday morning, tragedy struck at the intersection of Eisenhower Parkway and Second Street in Bibb County, resulting in one fatality and three critical injuries. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office reported a collision involving a white Honda Civic and a gray Crown Victoria at 1:37 a.m.
Emergency responders transported three individuals to a medical facility for treatment, all in critical condition. Unfortunately, a male passenger from the Crown Victoria was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley.
Names of those involved will be withheld until next of kin notification. Investigators are diligently working to ascertain the cause of the collision, leaving the community awaiting answers amidst this somber incident.
