1 Person Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Crash In Huntington Beach (Huntington Beach, CA)

According to the Huntington Beach Police Department, a person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Wednesday. 

At around 10:30 a.m., a Black Nissan Sentra, a White BMW 5 series, and a White Ford Ranger were involved in a fatal crash. Investigators stated that the BMW travelling eastbound on Garfield Avenue east of Magnolia Street, first struck the Nissan. The vehicle then hit the Ford that was stopped in the westbound lane on Garfield Avenue. 

As a result of this, a 59-year-old woman occupant in Nissan was transported to the hospital with severe injuries where she later died. The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. 

It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated.
