A fatal accident occurred this morning at 10400 Fulton Street, currently under investigation by the Houston Police Department. The crash, which happened around 8 a.m. on April 1, resulted in one fatality and two injuries.

The deceased woman’s identity is yet to be confirmed by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. According to the HPD Vehicular Crimes Division, a gray Dodge Charger was leaving a stop sign, heading west on East Sunnyside Street.

As it entered the intersection of Fulton Street, it was hit by a gold Honda Odyssey van traveling north on Fulton. The female driver of the Honda was rushed to a local hospital by Houston Fire Department paramedics, where she was later pronounced dead. A 17-year-old female passenger in the Honda was also transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
