Tragedy struck in Dallas overnight Friday as one person lost their life and another remains in critical condition following a fatal crash along westbound I-30, just south of downtown Dallas.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office reported that the crash involved three vehicles and occurred around midnight.
Firefighters were faced with the challenging task of extracting two individuals who were trapped in the wreckage. Both were swiftly transported to a hospital, where, sadly, one of them succumbed to their injuries.
Details regarding the circumstances that led to this tragic crash are still under investigation as authorities work diligently to piece together the sequence of events. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
