In Santa Ana, a three-vehicle collision on Tuesday evening resulted in one fatality and three injuries, one of which is critical.
The fatal crash, involving two SUVs and a sedan, occurred around 7:30 p.m. in the 800 block of South Bristol Street. Regrettably, the passenger in the sedan was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed at this time.
The sedan’s driver is in critical condition. Occupants of the SUVs sustained minor injuries. Preliminary investigations suggest the sedan was northbound on Bristol Street, making a left turn onto westbound Tolliver Street.
At the same time, the two SUVs were southbound on Bristol Street. The cause of the multi-vehicle accident is under investigation. Both SUV drivers cooperated with authorities.
