According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in San Dimas on Thursday.
The crash happened on the 10 Freeway near Kellogg Drive at around 5 a.m.
According to the investigators, two unknown vehicles were involved in the collision. A small SUV had slammed into the center divider.
The officials stated that an unknown person suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The San Dimas Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
It is unclear what caused the crash and if drugs or alcohol were a factor involved.
