1 Person Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident In San Diego (San Diego, CA)

The California Highway Patrol reported a multi-vehicle accident in San Diego on March 16. The crash occurred shortly before 3 p.m. along the northbound lanes of the Interstate 15 freeway near Gopher Canyon Road.

According to the authorities, a semi-truck measuring 53 feet in length plunged down a steep hill off the right side of the freeway. The truck was carrying a load of produce, which spilled as the trailer collapsed. The logs indicate that the tractor-trailer was found on its side at the bottom of the hill. As a result, one person was fatally injured in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim remains undisclosed at the moment.

It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
