In a tragic incident overnight, a man lost his life after defying traffic restrictions for construction in San Antonio. The multi-vehicle accident occurred around 1:45 a.m. at Loop 1604 and I-10, a notorious construction zone.
Ignoring police instructions, the driver maneuvered around an off-duty officer blocking traffic for the ongoing construction. Tragically, he collided with a crane within the construction area, resulting in a fatal outcome.
Emergency services, including San Antonio police, fire, and EMS, responded promptly, pronouncing the man dead at the scene as he was fatally injured.
