The California Highway Patrol reported a multi-vehicle accident that caused the death of a person in Riverside on Saturday. The accident occurred at around 4:40 a.m. on State Route 215, southbound highway, Eastridge Avenue.
According to the officials, at least four vehicles were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the crash are not entirely clear at this time. One person was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
