A tragic two-vehicle accident on East Old Spanish Trail in Pima County claimed the life of an unnamed teen on Thursday. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department reported that the accident occurred near the intersection of East Old Spanish Trail and South Galileo Lane.
One person was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim is not yet known at this time. No other injuries were reported, but the investigation into the circumstances of the collision is ongoing.
The multi-vehicle accident led to the closure of Old Spanish Trail for several hours, disrupting traffic in the area. As authorities work to determine the factors contributing to the fatal crash, the community is left grappling with the loss of a young life.
