The California Highway Patrol reported a multi-vehicle accident in Pacoima on Sunday. The accident occurred on the eastbound lanes of Ronald Reagan Freeway at around 2:48 a.m.
According to the officials, a pickup truck and a sports car were involved in the collision. The events leading up to this are not yet known.
The driver of the sports car was stuck in the vehicle and had to be rescued by the firefighters. Unfortunately, he incurred fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the driver has not been disclosed at this time.
