According to the Texas Police, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Nacogdoches on Wednesday.
The crash happened at South Fredonia to FM 225 at Durst Street at around 9 a.m.According to the Police, one person suffered major injuries following the 3-car crash and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the deceased victim was not revealed by the Department of Safety.The officials are investigating whether drugs, alcohol, distracted driving, or speed played a factor in the crash.
Some portions of the South Fredonia to FM 225 at Durst Street are blocked for further investigation.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
