The Nacogdoches Police Department reported a multi-vehicle accident in the 3700 block of N.E. Stallings Drive. The accident occurred around 2:20 p.m. on Wednesday. According to the officials, there was a two-vehicle crash involving a passenger car and a commercial vehicle.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed at this time. Two people in the commercial vehicle were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Their identities have not been disclosed at this time.
The events leading up to the accident have not been reported by the authorities. The NPD Traffic Division is investigating the crash and will be conducting accident reconstruction. There will be traffic restrictions for a few hours.
