Tragedy struck on Sunday night in Maricopa County near Tonopah, Arizona, as a fatal 2-car crash claimed one life, according to Arizona Fire and Medical. The multi-vehicle accident unfolded around 339th Avenue and Indian School Road on the evening of January 28.
Emergency crews responded to extricate one patient with life-threatening injuries, while a second patient was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time.
Arizona Fire and Medical Division Chief Ashley Losch confirmed the fatality, and as of now, no further details have been provided regarding the circumstances of the fatal crash. Authorities continue their investigation into this tragic incident.
