A tragic collision occurred Tuesday afternoon, claiming the life of a motorcyclist in his 30s, identified as a Livermore resident. The multi-vehicle accident took place around 4:50 p.m. at the intersection of North Mines Road and Shirley Way.
The motorcyclist was travelling northbound on North Mines Road. Simultaneously, a Honda CR-V was heading south. Despite efforts by emergency responders, the motorcyclist was fatally injured and was pronounced dead. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed at this time.
The Livermore Police Department is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this fatal crash. As of now, no further details have been released.
