According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Jamestown on Thursday. The crash happened on Highway 108/120 near Rushing Hill Lookout Road at around 9:15 a.m.
According to California Highway Patrol Officer Susan Addleman, a tow truck and an unknown vehicle were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the tow truck driver traveling westbound struck the unknown vehicle head-on.
According to the reports, an unknown person suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Jamestown Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
The accident is still being investigated at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. Additional information regarding the fatal crash is not available.
