Houston police have reported a fatal collision on Alief Clodine Road this morning, resulting in one death and two injuries. The multi-vehicle accident occurred around 9:35 a.m. in the 12800 block of Alief Clodine Road and involved a red Ford Mustang and a white Toyota Sienna van.
The identity of the deceased male, who was the driver of the Mustang, is being withheld pending family notification. According to the HPD Vehicular Crimes Division, the Mustang was traveling eastbound when the Toyota, traveling westbound, attempted a left turn onto South Pinesap Drive without yielding the right of way, resulting in the collision.
The Mustang’s driver was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Hospital, while a male passenger remains critically injured at Ben Taub General Hospital. The Toyota’s driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Katy. Investigations into the fatal crash are ongoing.
