1 Person Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident In Houston (Houston, TX)

A high-speed fatal crash pursuit in Houston took a tragic turn when a stolen car, driven by a teen, collided with a Kia Forte on the wrong side of the Eastex Freeway. The suspect, traveling westbound on Ruiz Street, entered the Eastex Freeway in the wrong direction, prompting officers to terminate the pursuit for safety.

Despite this, the suspect continued on the freeway, crashing into the Kia on the I-10 East Freeway connector ramp. The 51-year-old Kia driver suffered serious injuries, and a female passenger in the stolen car was fatally injured and was pronounced dead.

The teen suspect and four passengers, aged 14 to 16, were hospitalized. The teen faces charges, including unlawful use of a motor vehicle and felony evading arrest. Additional charges may follow the pending investigation of this multi-vehicle accident.
