According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Hockley County. The crash happened on SH 114 east of Smyer.
According to the investigators, an unknown vehicle and an unknown car were involved in the collision. The driver of the unknown vehicle traveling eastbound collided with an unknown car and pulled over on the side of the highway.
The officials stated that the driver of the unknown car suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Hockley Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
