1 Person Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident In Grand Prarie (Grand Prarie, TX)

The Grand Prarie Police Department reported a multi-vehicle accident that occurred on Tuesday. The officials confirmed that one person died in the accident. According to the officials, the deceased victim was not identified.

Around 9:45 p.m. the crash happened at Grand Prairie in Belt Line Road. A Nissan was driving north in the 1000 block of Belt Line Road when it struck the pedestrian. The pedestrian was trying to cross the roadway. 

The victim was not using the designated crosswalk when he was struck, police said. He was subsequently taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
