In Grand Prairie, a fatal crash occurred around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Belt Line and Hunter Ferrell Roads. According to police, two vehicles were involved in the crash. 

A GMC SUV travelling north on Belt Line collided with a semi-tractor trailer turning south from Hunter Ferrell. Witnesses reported that the SUV was speeding and ran a red light before the crash. The multi-vehicle accident resulted in one death. An adult male occupant of the SUV was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The tractor-trailer driver, uninjured, is not expected to face charges. The victim’s identity will be withheld until family notification. The incident is under investigation.
