According to the Garland Police, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Garland on Tuesday,
The crash happened on westbound Interstate 30 near the President George Bush Turnpike at around 5 a.m.
According to the Police, two 18-wheelers were involved in the collision.
The officials stated that an 18-wheeler pulled over on the shoulder and another 18-wheeler struck it which led to a fire.
The driver of the 18- wheeler suffered minor injuries and an unknown person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the drivers was not revealed by the Garland Police.
Some portions of Interstate 30 near the President George Bush Turnpike are blocked for further investigation.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
