During Thursday’s rainy weather in Garland, a fatal two-car crash occurred on West Miller Road near Sanden. Garland police closed the road following the collision between a pick-up truck and a car.
Unfortunately, the driver of the car was fatally injured in the multi-vehicle accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the man has not been disclosed at this time.
Four occupants in the pick-up were transported to the hospital, and their conditions remain undisclosed.
The fatal crash happened in wet conditions, as there had been a light but steady rain for several hours. The roadway was reopened around 5:30 p.m. Investigators are assessing whether the weather played a role in the tragedy.
