According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Fresno at around 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
The crash took place in Conejo and Peach Avenues.
According to the investigators, an unknown sedan and an Amtrak train were involved in the collision.
The officials stated that the driver of the unknown vehicle was traveling westbound and was struck by a train.
The driver of the unknown vehicle suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Fresno Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
