The Federal Way Police Department reported a multi-vehicle accident on Friday morning. The accident occurred in the 300 block of SW Campus Drive at around 2:40 a.m.
According to the officials, two vehicles were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the collision are not yet known at this time.
The passenger of one of the vehicles involved in the crash was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and a child passenger from the second vehicle were taken to a hospital for treatment.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role. There are no other details available at this time.
