According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Dana Point on Sunday. The crash happened south of Camino De Estrella at around 2 a.m.
According to the investigators, an unknown vehicle and three other vehicles were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the driver of the unknown vehicle overturned and flipped onto its roof.
The unknown driver suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead following the collision. The Dana Point Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased driver.
The accident is still being investigated by the authorities. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role. No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Dana Police.
