A fatal crash occurred overnight Friday along westbound I-30, just south of downtown Dallas, resulting in one person dead and another critically injured. Dallas County Sheriff’s Office deputies reported that three vehicles were involved in the wreck around midnight.
Firefighters were required to extricate two individuals who were trapped in the wreckage. Both were swiftly transported to a nearby hospital, where tragically, one succumbed to their injuries.
The identity of the victim has not been disclosed at this time. Investigators are diligently working to ascertain the circumstances that led to the crash. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the multi-vehicle accident.
