1 Person Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident In Dallas (Dallas, TX)

A fatal crash in southern Dallas on Friday night resulted in the death of a male driver and severe injuries to a female passenger, according to police statements to WFAA. The multi-vehicle accident occurred at approximately 7 p.m. in the 5900 block of University Hills Boulevard.

The victims, travelling southbound, attempted to turn left into a shopping centre parking lot. They were struck by a northbound suspect driver travelling at a high rate of speed.

The male driver was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The female passenger was transported to the hospital in critical condition. The identity of the victim is not yet known at this time. 

The suspect driver, also critically injured, will face charges of Intoxication Manslaughter and Intoxication Assault. There are no other details available at this time.
