The Texas Department Of Public Safety reported a multi-vehicle accident that occurred on Saturday. The officials confirmed that one person died in the accident. According to the officials, the deceased victim was not identified.
Around 3:30 a.m., the crash happened on State Highway 27 North and Carbon Plant Road at around 3:30 a.m. A vehicle was headed south on the northbound lanes. This caused the vehicle to crash into another that had been driving north.
One of the people was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. There was another victim who was taken to a hospital for treatment with life-threatening injuries.
The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
