According to the California Highway Patrol, a two-vehicle accident occurred in Contra Costa County on Saturday. The crash happened on Interstate 680 at around 4 a.m. 

According to the investigators, a Tesla Model S and a fire truck were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the driver of the Tesla struck the unknown truck that was parked. 

According to the reports, Tesla’s driver suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Contra County Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person. 

The accident is still being investigated. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. Additional information regarding the fatal crash is not available currently.
