The Washington State Patrol reported a multi-vehicle accident in Colbert on Monday. The accident occurred on State Route 395 near Monroe Road.
According to the officials, the collision involved two vehicles – a motorcycle and a pickup truck. A Ford F250 hauling a trailer was crossing the southbound lanes of the highway and trying to turn left. A motorcycle crashed into it which resulted in the collision.
The driver of the motorcycle was fatally injured and pronounced dead. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time. The driver of the truck was not injured.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated at this time. It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
