According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Chatsworth on Thursday. The crash happened in the 8900 block of Winnetka Avenue at around 6 a.m.
According to the investigators, two unknown sedans and an unknown driver were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident have not been disclosed.
One of the sedan drivers suffered minor injuries and the other suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Chatsworth Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person.
According to the deputies, it is unclear what caused the crash and if drugs or alcohol were a factor involved. Additional information regarding the fatal crash is not available currently.
