The Chandler Police Department reported a multi-vehicle accident on Monday morning. The accident occurred at the intersection of Chandler Boulevard and Pennington Drive at around 11:15 a.m.
According to the officials, a motorcycle and an SUV were involved in the collision. The events leading up to this are not entirely clear at this time.
The driver of the motorcycle was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and the passenger present in the SUV were taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The identity of the driver has not been disclosed at this time.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
