The Buda Police Department reported a multi-vehicle accident on Friday morning. The accident occurred on Interstate 35, near exit 220/Main Street at around 4:00 a.m.
According to the officials, four vehicles were involved in the collision. The crash was caused by a vehicle that went the wrong way.
At least one person involved in the collision was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated by the authorities. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
