According to the Beaumont Police, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Beaumont on Tuesday night.
The crash happened in the 4500 block of College Street near the O’Reilly Auto Parts and M&D Supply at around 9 p.m.
According to the Police, a cyclist was hit by a car and he suffered major injuries following the collision.
The injured cyclist was transported to an area hospital and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the deceased victim was not revealed by the Beaumont Police.
The officials are investigating whether drugs, alcohol, distracted driving, or speed played a factor in the crash.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
