A fatal multi-vehicle accident on Planz Road claimed the life of one woman and left two others injured on February 9. The tragic incident occurred in the 1900 block of Planz Road when Arturo Munoz, allegedly intoxicated, collided with a white sedan while traveling eastbound in a Chevy Tahoe.

The fatal crash resulted in the death of one woman and left two other occupants injured. Bakersfield police reported that one victim has been released from the hospital, while another remains in critical condition. Munoz, who had three prior DUI convictions within the last six years, was apprehended and taken into custody.

The police investigation revealed that authorities had been monitoring an SUV at a car meet prior to the collision.
