Arlington police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Saturday night at the intersection of South Collins Street and North Webb Ferrell Road. The multi-vehicle accident involved a Volkswagen travelling east on Webb Ferrell and a Silverado heading south on Collins.
Both vehicles proceeded through the intersection, resulting in a crash. The driver of the Volkswagen was transported to a hospital but was later pronounced dead. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the victim’s identity once their next of kin is notified.
The passengers in the Volkswagen and the Silverado driver, whose names were not disclosed, did not sustain injuries. Further details are pending investigation.
