1 Person Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident In Arlington (Arlington, TX)

The Arlington Police Department reported a multi-vehicle accident on Monday morning. The accident occurred in the 3900 block of West Division Street at around 9 a.m. 

According to the officials, three vehicles were involved in a collision. A 2011 Chevrolet Silverado, a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado, and a 2012 Toyota Camry crashed into each other. The 2011 Silverado was headed west when the driver went into oncoming traffic, causing it to collide with the 2001 Silverado. Some items from the 2011 car flew out of the vehicle and hit the Camry, causing it to crash as well. 

One person was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed at this time. The driver of the 2011 Silverado was injured and has been taken to a hospital for treatment. He will be arrested upon release due to the fatal crash.
