1 Person Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident In Arlington (Arlington, TX)

The Arlington Police Department reported a multi-vehicle accident on Wednesday morning. The accident occurred in the 2100 block of West Interstate 20 at around 5:30 a.m. 

According to the officials, a Nissan Murano had been travelling east on the interstate when it tried to pass a second vehicle. The Nissan instead, clipped the second vehicle, which caused it to lose control before crashing into a guardrail. 

The driver of the Nissan was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time. 

The cause of the fatal crash is suspected to be speed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision as well. There are no other details available at this time.
