A fatal two-vehicle crash occurred in the Antelope Valley community of Llano, resulting in one death, authorities reported on Saturday. The multi-vehicle accident took place on Pearblossom Highway at 263rd Street around 11 p.m. Friday, where a white van and a sedan were found blocking one lane of the two-lane highway, according to CHP Officer Sergio Garcia.
One of the vehicles had flipped onto its side and was engulfed in flames upon officers’ arrival. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Although firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the scene, no individuals required transportation to a hospital.
The circumstances leading to the fatal crash and the identities of those involved have not been disclosed as investigations continue.
