A tragic incident unfolded in Yavapai County, where a man lost his life in what authorities are calling an apparent “freak accident” involving a tractor. On March 17, deputies responded to Rimrock following reports from neighbors who discovered the man’s body pinned beneath the tractor.
The man had been unreachable by phone for some time before the discovery. He was found partially under the tractor’s rear tire, with the tractor itself pinned against a fence nearby.
Tools at the scene indicated that the man had been working on the tractor before the accident occurred. The sheriff’s office has not released the identity of the deceased man.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation as authorities work to determine the sequence of events leading to the tragic outcome.
