According to the Sunnyvale Police Department, a motorcyclist was killed in a motorcycle crash in Sunnyvale on Sunday.
Approximately at 7:00 a.m., a motorcyclist riding his motorcycle northbound on Lawrence Expressway and Arques Avenue, in an attempt to make a turn, lost control of the vehicle and collided with a vehicle that was traveling southbound. He was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
