According to the California Highway Patrol, a person was killed in a motor vehicle crash in Santa Ana on Sunday. The accident occurred on a road that linked the southbound Orange Freeway to the southbound Ana Freeway.
Approximately at 4:30 a.m., a single vehicle was involved in a collision. A person driving an SUV lost control and crashed. The events leading up to this are not entirely clear. The person was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
