The San Jose Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in San Jose that killed a motorcyclist on Tuesday. According to the officials, a motorcycle and a patrol vehicle were involved in the collision.
Approximately at 6:40 p.m., a motorcyclist was riding down the intersection of Story Road and Jackson Avenue at a high speed when it tried to take a U-turn. While doing so, it struck a patrol vehicle. The motorcyclist was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
